All sessions are tailored to the client’s wants and needs. My goal as a photographer is to create magic and satisfy your vision! I want to create a comfortable, laid-back environment and provide an unforgettable experience along with beautiful, high quality portraits. While I specialize in equine portraiture, I also have experience in family, pet, and human portraiture, including senior/graduation photos.

BRONZE PACKAGE // $240

Includes:

  • 30 minute session

  • 8 high resolution images 

The bronze package is the perfect way to receive beautiful, high-quality portraits for a low cost! Add on a black background for an extra fee.

SILVER PACKAGE // $370

Includes:

  • One hour session

  • One optional outfit change

  • 15 high resolution images 

  • One black background image

  • $30 print credit

The silver package allows you to expand on your vision. Showcase your bond with candids, strike a pose for the camera, and more! This option includes a black background to let your equine partner shine!

Includes:

  • 1.5 hour session

  • Two optional outfit changes

  • 25 high resolution images 

  • Two black background images

  • $75 print credit

The gold package is ideal for the client who just can't choose! It is the most versatile package and multiple outfit changes allow you to explore different styles and aesthetics.

FAQ

HOW DO I BOOK?

In order to book, reach out to me via my website’s convenient chat feature, by texting (410) 971-3647, or emailing info.liasimphotography@gmail.com. Once you’ve decided to book and have discussed your dream session and expectations with me, in order to reserve your session time I require a 25% deposit. I accept cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Venmo charges a Purchase Protection fee of 2%, and PayPal requires 3%, which will be covered by the client if you opt to use one of these platforms. 

 

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?

Preparation is completely up to the client, but there are some recommendations I’d like to offer for the most satisfactory final product! Dress in whatever makes you comfortable! For equine portraiture, casual, dress, or horse show attire are great options. Your horse should be as clean as possible(including a trimmed bridle path if it has been cut before and is partially grown out). Hoof oil is optional but adds that extra touch! Make sure your horse’s eyes clean as well. Leather halters with leather or plain black lead ropes or leather bridles are HIGHLY recommended and should be cleaned (including the bit if you’re using one) and oiled. A plain snaffle bit tends to look the best, but whatever you have or would like to use is absolutely acceptable.

Having a second person on site is HIGHLY recommended, especially if you have an outfit change and may need a holder, or your horse isn’t a natural “poser” and may need some assistance with ear posture! If you cannot provide a second person, let me know beforehand.

 

WHAT TIME SHOULD I BOOK?

The best photos are taken in the early morning at sunrise or shortly after, or in the last hour before the sun sets. Afternoon hours produce harsh light and are not recommended. If the forecast is cloudy, other times may work as clouds produce a natural diffusion of light.

 

WHERE SHOULD WE SHOOT?

Be sure to scope out your location beforehand to find good photo spots you may want to use. Natural greenery is always beautiful, as well as in front of barns or near ponds if you have one. If you would like to shoot somewhere off-property, I am happy to help you pick a location in advance.

 

ARE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE?

Most certainly! The best way to acquire a discount is to book multiple shoots at the same location, such as having friends book on the same day as you. 

 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Turnaround time is dependent on each individual shoot and the client’s needs. On average, expect to see your photos in about 2-3 weeks!

 

CAN I PRINT MY DIGITALS?

I offer a wide variety of print options! However, digitals may not be printed by the client without a print release. If you are interested in purchasing a print release, contact me for more information! 

 

WHAT OTHER FEES SHOULD I EXPECT?

I provide complete transparency on any fees you may acquire. One is the aforementioned transaction fees for certain payment platforms. Certain locations (over 30 miles from Pasadena, MD) require a travel fee of $0.50/mile. That’s it!
